Jenny Smith Coaching has grown out of Jenny’s commitment to a healthy lifestyle through athletics, cycling and multisport.

Her coaching combines her love of learning, teaching and sharing with her extensive knowledge and experience garnered over 25 years of  training and racing at an elite level in the sports of cycling, mountain biking, XTERRA triathlon and running.

She specializes in individualized coaching programs for endurance athletes.

  • An individualised training plan.

  • A weekly phone consultation.

  • Regular email communication.

  • Training Peaks account. The athlete account hosts workouts, data, feedback and communication with coach.

  • Athletes receive daily emails from Training Peaks with workout information.

  • Appropriate use of training tools including a power meter, heart rate monitor and effort based sessions based on need, preference and athletes equipment.

  • Athlete/Coach training session (location + schedule TBD)

one on one instruction
  • These are one on one instruction and guided sessions.  Bike skills and practice  for MTB, road or cyclocross.

  • A guided ride in the Gunnison, Crested Butte area.  A preview of a bike course.  

  • Running sessions to learn skills, technique and running drills.   Teaching a specific running workout.  A guided run in the Gunnison, Crested Butte area.

    There are two OPTIONS.

    1. Strength and conditioning program. Jenny will meet, discuss, develop and teach you a personalized strength and conditioning program. This option is designed for you to then do the program on your own.
